UTC Explained

UTC means Coordinated Universal Time. It is the global reference used to keep clocks synchronized across countries and systems.

Time zones are usually written as offsets from UTC, such as UTC+01:00 or UTC-03:00.

UTC does not change with seasons. Local regions may apply daylight saving rules on top of UTC offsets.
